On Friday late Per request from 2006 attendees, this year we will be starting off from Old Victoria, a restored 1800's mining site (which is on the historical register), located south of Rockland, MI.  There  will be primitive tent camping on site, no electricity or water but portapotties on site.  Self-contained RVs are welcome as well as those who want to camp.

We will head out after Saturday morning's  fantastic "pannu" (Finnish pancake) and sausage breakfast complete with the Old Victoria Historical Society's "famous" cinnamon buns.  They use wood stoves as there is no electricity on site.  2006 attendees agreed that this was one of the best culinary experiences in a lifetime".

Midway on the Bill Nichols Trail north, we will have our "Yooper Pasty" lunch on the trail at the trestles.  Saturday evening meal will be at the Twin Lakes State Park Pavillion.  You must make your own arrangements to stay at one of the few motels or at the State Park, and Krups Resort also has RV parking and lodging.  The Aventure Motel in Mass City still has rooms open (906) 883-3520.

Sunday we will head back towards Old Victoria via the Bill Nichols Trail.   Breakfast is on you.  Lunch will be at the Ontonagon County Fairgrounds.

An interesting side tour is available for the Adventure Copper Mine Tour for a discounted fee.  This really has a nice panoramic view of the countryside.

Friday afternoon and/or evening, we plan on taking our tractors and haywagon from Old Victoria up to the Victoria Dam and site of the original copper mine.  T

Our  ride will  have stunning fall foliage as well as spectacular scenery, our route will include old railroad sidings, three 100 ft trestles over the very picturesque  Flintsteel and Firesteel rivers, a tractor parade though some of the small communities in our area.  This year we hope to have some short tractor "haywagon" rides up to Victoria Dam from the Old Victoria site.

Registration will be  Sep 21, 2007 as well as early morning of Sep 22.  The Tractor Ride will be September 22 & 23, 2007.  We will be settting up the Old Victoria site earlier in the week but primitive camping can be arranged.

Jointly presented by the Ontonagon MI and Eagle River WI Antique Engine & Tractor Clubs, the WTR is a non-profit organization.
